Evolution in Action
You are evolving, and you may develop faster than the organizations of which
you are a member.
You can learn to create your own meaning of your own life, rather than being part
of a passive mass.
Transformation is available to responsible people who desire it. A key step in
this transformation is a stable experience of integration and connectedness.
This helps people live a meaningful life, while resolving issues that prevented
such a life. We call this experience integrity.
Executive Overview
Systemic coaching helps people to find and stabilize an experience of
personal identity and
connectedness, as an experience of ongoing integrity. This provides a basis for
restructuring relationships, resolving traumatic memories, re-evaluating
role models, and choosing mentors.
We help people find
complete solutions for neurotic and addictive behavior, such as compulsions,
addictions, unhealthy relationship patterns and emotional problems. This also
alleviates many psychosomatic
[1] symptoms, and helps prevent
and accelerate the healing of physical disease
[2].
Most people can begin Systemic Coaching immediately.

Control Crisis and Stress
People in crisis (E.g.: divorce;
war; pain; unwanted pregnancy; unemployment; suicidal, etc)
may be unable to focus on existential issues. Instead, they
may age regress and act like children. Deeper work would be
difficult if a person is preoccupied with a crisis or severe stress.
Resolve Guilt
People with overwhelming guilt (from having violated important relationships)
will sabotage their success and happiness until guilt is resolved. Further
changework is difficult until guilt is resolved.
Dissolve objections
Resolving unconscious objections, dissolving transferences and defining goals
are essential skills for all subsequent Soulwork. Problem relationships
are discussed, which leads to a changework plan.
Resolve Identity Blocks
A person may have dissociated their identity during abuse or trauma,
we call this identity loss. A person may identify with someone
else (identification). Some people create sub-identities to represent their conflicting
parents (identity conflict). These can be resolving during systemic coaching.
Evaluate Relationship Bonds
Relationships with feelings of connection (bonds) can be evaluated
and changed. Unwanted bonds (E.g. “I feel bonded to a previous job -
which seems to stop me finding success”) are changed. On completion,
a person can express integrity within any relationship. A person gains choice
in how and with whom to build relationships.
A shallow description of relationship bonds may be "feelings of connection".
A "bond" to a past partner or parent may prevent a person finding a new
partner. In Soulwork Systemic Coaching, we can evaluate such bonds in many ways
- as influences, as beliefs, as values and sometimes as a sense of identity.
Coaching people to change relationships requires that a person has already
dissolved their conflicts - otherwise the person will have conflicts about
changing their relationships and is unlikely to act.
Evaluate Trauma
Traumatic experiences are often associated with strong emotions.
These emotions can overwhelm a person and sabotage important goals. (E.g. “I
am overcome with sadness when I remember that event.”). The sources of
these emotions often include abusive and traumatic events. If a person chooses
to accept lessons that were previously ignored, on completion,
a person finds all emotions motivating. (E.g. “Sadness
about my past reminds me to make the most of my life”).
Most unpleasant emotions are healthy responses to unhealthy experiences.
After Systemic Coaching, a person can feel resourceful while pondering
or learning from unpleasant memories; and find deep, lasting motivation
to achieve important goals.
Evaluate Role Models
Role models are people from whom we have consciously or unconsciously
learned behaviors and attitudes. After
trauma resolution, a person can identify and evaluate role models, and choose whether
to replace the role models and the imitated beliefs and behaviors. A person can
choose which role models to emulate and which new behaviors to actualize.
On completion, a person can choose which influences are desirable, and resolve remaining
unwanted behaviors in alignment with that person’s desire for living a meaningful life.
Couple Coaching
People in committed partnerships often ask for Couple Coaching, during or after
Systemic Coaching. As they take steps towards living with purpose and meaning,
they wish to share these skills with important people. Couple Coaching coaches
both partners to simultaneously to evaluate and fine-tune their relationships.
Team Coaching
Team coaching includes teambuilding; team goal setting, hidden agendas,
rituals and team training.

[1] Somatic and psychosomatic
disease may be distinguished by whether the symptoms of a chronic disease disappear following
a “non-medical” change in lifestyle (a change in work, relationships etc). Most physicians
estimate that people with psychosomatic symptoms greatly outnumber those with somatic
disease.
[2] Physical disease, trauma or surgery that has destroyed
or removed non-renewable tissue is unlikely to be reversible. In these situations, Soulwork
systemic coaching may
improve a person’s emotional reactions and emotions concerning the destroyed tissue.
