Phase 1
activities provide a knowledge base of behavioral micro-skills that can be
analyzed and sequenced into models of competence.
Phase 2 activities
expand and test the knowledge base until a final coherent model provides
competent performance approaching that of the original experts.

the derived expert models to capable, willing and motivated learners using accelerated learning
and systemic coaching strategies ...
Phase 3: Create an Expert Model-Based Training
1. Review existing courses
- Identify essential training modules
- Sequence content and process components
- Create evaluation criteria and documentation
- Develop trainee interview and selection criteria
2. Present a pilot training
- Maintain optimum physiologies
- Replace disabling beliefs
- Find an inspirational sense of self (integrity)
- Sequence and present the content knowledge
3. Formalize training design
- Check - do trainees perform competently?
- Refine and perhaps repeat the pilot training
- Identify and include behavioral components
- Debug training segments and create a final program
4. Train in-house trainers
- Select appropriate trainers
- Train and supervise
trainers
- Monitor and evaluate training results
- Compile final documentation
People experience the world through their senses, but
interpret their experiences differently, leading to different models of the
world and different reactions, behaviors and performance strategies. Expert Modeling duplicates
expert performance strategies - increasing accomplishment and productivity.
Conclusion
Phase 1 of Expert Modeling decomposes expert performance into
a knowledge base of behavioral micro-skills.
Phase 2 sequences, optimizes and refines those skill components, and sequences
them into testable models of competence. After testing with selected subjects
has indicated the desired
competence gains, during Phase 3 we transfer this expertise to learners using
our accelerated learning and systemic coaching - both of which are themselves
products of expert modeling!.
